It is good to see improvement in emergency care at Hue University Hospital even though there is still a lot more work to be done for this ER to be competitive with other major centers. In 2006, it was just a little hole in the wall. Today the entrance to the ER is wide open. This patient was brought in by a taxi obviously with an acute abdomen. The nursing assessments was done within minutes. IV line started, pain controlled, eFast ultrasound done, and patient was went to CT all within 10 min of arrival.
